Biography

Tonda L. Hughes, PhD, RN, FAAN is Professor Emerita at the University of Illinois Chicago, where she previously served as Collegiate Professor and Associate Dean for Global Health in the College of Nursing, as well as Adjunct Professor in the School of Public Health. She has also held prestigious honorary academic appointments at the University of Melbourne, the University of Technology Sydney, Deakin University in Australia, Oxford Brookes University in England, and the University of Pennsylvania and Vanderbilt University in the United States.
